Apica C.D. Notebooks are made in Japan, have a lay-flat design, are fountain pen friendly, and are available in 6 colors and 3 sizes. All paper inside is lined/ruled. The classical design is reminiscent of an old book cover. Its trademark is the ornamental flame, which has been passed down for more than half a century. Either black or silver color printing is used for the ornamental flame, depending on the cover color in order to give each notebook its own personality. The black back tape brings out the vivid colors on the cover, tying the whole series together.
